As our company is consistently expanding, we are looking for those candidates who are highly motivated and driven by the opportunity for financial reward and career advancement in a family-like working environment. *Job Description: * We are looking for an experienced and highly organized *General Manager* who will oversee daily business activities. An ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing an operational plan and ensuring that procedures are followed and carried out properly. Additionally, the *General Manager* will regularly evaluate organizational efficiency and will make necessary changes to maximize staff productivity. The successful candidate will assess the needs of the company and will find ways to contribute to overall success by ensuring daily operations run smoothly and efficiently as possible. *Responsibilities: * * Supervise and maintain effective working relationships and effective communications with high-level managers in multiple departments while reporting directly to CEO. * Responsible for defining, implementing and revising operations policies and guidelines * Overseeing employee training programs, liaising with superior to make decisions for operational activities and setting strategic goals * Evaluating regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives * Applying improvements, evaluating overall performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics. * Monitors data of ongoing service, maintenance and training activities to identify, evaluate, and improve performance. * Creates reporting and analysis to improve overall performance. * Functions as a tactful communicator and motivator that identifies problem solving and resolution matters associated with the overall safety and well-being of the operation and transportation service. *Requirements: * * Proven experience in Executive Management role in Transportation company (transportation company-mandatory) * In depth knowledge of diverse transportation functions and regulations * Proven knowledge of performance evaluation metrics * Bachelor?s degree in related discipline * Excellent organizational and leadership abilities * Strong personal and professional judgment * Excellent interpersonal and communications skills * Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel and web based software * Excellent oral and written communications skills * Ability and desire to work in positive, fast paced environment with long hours * Great problem solving and decision making skills *We offer competitive wages and a great benefits package. * _By applying to this position, you are confirming you possess either a Canadian citizenship, permanent resident status, or work permit. _ Please note that only the candidates selected for the interview will be contacted for in-person interviews.
