*Job Summary:*
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced *Complex Claims / Large Loss Project Manager* to join our team. This role is critical in managing high-value, large-scale restoration projects following catastrophic events, including fire, flood, and storm damage. You will oversee the entire claims process from start to finish, ensuring client satisfaction, timely delivery of services, and alignment with industry standards.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of complex loss projects, including insurance claims management and property restoration. You will work closely with clients, insurers, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver results that align with our company's values and mission of excellence.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* *Project Management:* Oversee all aspects of large loss and complex claims projects, ensuring smooth operations from initial assessment to project close-out.
* *Claims Handling:* Act as the main point of contact for large-scale insurance claims, providing expertise in documentation, reporting, and communication with adjusters and insurers.
* *Client Relationships:* Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and ensuring all needs and expectations are met throughout the restoration process.
* *Team Leadership:* Lead cross-functional teams, including estimators, field technicians, and subcontractors, to ensure high standards of performance, safety, and accountability.
* *Estimating:* Provide accurate and detailed project estimates, working closely with the estimating team and utilizing industry-standard software (Xactimate, Symbility).
* *Budget Management:* Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring projects are completed within approved financial parameters.
* *Compliance:* Ensure all projects meet local, provincial, and federal regulations, as well as insurance company guidelines and best practices.
* *Problem-Solving:* Anticipate and address potential challenges in the project lifecycle, employing strong analytical skills and decision-making to keep projects on track.
* *Reporting:* Prepare and present detailed reports to management, clients, and insurers, including project timelines, financials, and safety compliance updates.
* *Continuous Improvement:* Identify opportunities to improve processes and strategies for managing large loss projects, contributing to the company?s growth and development.
*Required Qualifications:*
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the insurance restoration or construction industry, with a focus on large loss and complex claims.
* Strong knowledge of insurance claims processes and procedures, including Xactimate.
* Proven track record of successfully managing large, high-value projects.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client relationships and lead teams.
* Proficient in budget management, cost control, and resource allocation.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle challenging situations and provide innovative solutions.
* Valid driver?s license and the ability to travel to various project sites as required.
*Preferred Qualifications:*
* IICRC certifications in Fire, Water, and/or Mold Restoration.
* PMP or other relevant project management certifications.
