Middlesex Spine and Sport Clinic is a busy multidisciplinary clinic of Chiropractors, Physiotherapists and Massage Therapists. We have two clinics, one located in Mount Brydges and the other within the LiUNA Local 1059 Union Hall in London. This position requires working at both locations. We?re looking for an enthusiastic, professional admin to join our team! You?ll play a crucial role as the first point of contact for patients with Middlesex Spine and Sport Clinic. Responsibilities include answering phone calls and emails, booking appointments, billing, being the first source of information for patients, and ensuring the clinic is cleaned and organized. Applicants should take pride in their work, be passionate about helping others, and have an interest in growing with our organization. The position will consist of hours at both clinics, with evening and weekend shifts required.
Responsibilities
* Answering the phone and emails to make sure patients are booked in the schedule with the proper provider
* Provide administrative support to other team members with data entry, paperwork, photocopying, etc. when needed
* Give every employee, client, and visitor a warm welcome at the front desk and communicate any important information or directions
* Welcome, assist, and interact with patients
* Source of information for patients: location(s), services, clinicians, events, coverage
* Front desk décor and setup
* New patient checklist
* Appointment bookings
* Billings and collections
* Front desk and patient waiting area are clean and organized
* Treatment space, rooms and exercise area are clean and organized
Qualifications
* Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, and verbal communication skills
* At least one year of receptionist or administrative assistant, experience, or similar preferred
* Has previous experience with word processing programs and basic computer skills
* Comfortable taking telephone calls and mitigating stressful situations
* Experience in a chiropractic or physiotherapy clinic not essential but preferred
* Familiarity with Jane, Blue Cross, Telus Portal, Provider Connect and HCAI preferred
Hours: Part-time, 15-25 hours/week
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Schedule:
* 8 hour shift
* Day shift
* Evening shift
* Monday to Friday
* Weekends as needed
