*Manager of Elders Services* *Wage:* $45,000 - $55,000 Annual Salary, dependent upon experience *Benefits: *Paid sick days for yourself and family, 4 weeks of vacation, comprehensive benefits package, 5.5% employer matched pension *Hours: *Full-Time, Monday to Friday 8:00am ? 4:00pm (Flexibility required to accommodate needs of the Nation) *Location: *Prince George and Fort Ware, willingness to travel to community every other week *About Us* _*https://www.kwadacha.com*_ Kwadacha Nation (Tsek?ene) is commonly known as Fort Ware and is located approximately 570 km north of Prince George, at the confluence of the Fox, Kwadacha, and Finlay rivers in the Rocky Mountain Trench. Kwadacha Nation strives to maintain a balance of resources and the needs of our people for current and future generations as taught by our ancestors. Our vision is that Kwadacha Dune are healthy, prosperous, self-sufficient, and protectors of khuta khudowa uwidlah (everything the creator gave us). *Responsibilities* Reporting to the Director of Health and Wellness Services, the Manager of Elders Services will establish relationships with the Elders, develop and implement programming, provide health and social service support to Elders and people living with disabilities in Kwadacha. The Manager of Elders Services operates as part of a multi-disciplinary team, which provides holistic services to Indigenous people in Kwadacha. * Oversee, schedule, and mentor Elders Assistant(s), Homemakers, and volunteers, ensuring effective program delivery and clients are receiving adequate care and support. * Develop programming and coordinate resources and support based on the needs of Elders * Collaborate with Primary Care Team (e.g., nurses, doctors, nurse practitioner, homecare nurse) and to ensure clients? and Elders' needs are met. * Manage a small team who provides cleaning, grocery assistance, and primary healthcare support. * Connect with Elders in person or by phone consistently for social and wellness check-ins * Provide daily healthcare services to clients including medication delivery, vital tests, baths, and in home assessments as needed. * Plan, coordinate, and attend cultural activities, trips, and events for Elders, ensuring a respectful and enriching experience that promotes cultural preservation and community engagement. * Act as a liaison between Chief and Council, Band Office, and Elders, while preserving Elders? history * Perform administrative tasks, including payroll, reports, schedules, and other relevant requests. * Utilize funding opportunities to cover costs associated with programs and healthcare services *Qualifications* * Post-secondary degree in Social Work or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
