Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Outdoors. Odours. Dairy. Grain, oil and forage crop. All weather conditions. Work setting: Rural area. Staff accommodation available. Tasks: Handling animals. Monitor the calving process. Monitoring animal health. Prepare cattle for exhibition. Track and report on current feed inventory . Weeding. Fertilize and spray crops. Harvest crops. Feed and tend animals. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Milk cows. Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens. Maintain work records and logs. Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry. Perform general farm duties. Write daily basic progress reports. Operate and maintain harvesting and cultivating equipment. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Screening questions: Are you available for shift or on-call work?. Are you currently a student?. Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Are you willing to relocate for this position?. Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?.
