Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Prepare and submit reports. Arrange for maintenance and repair work. Maintain work records and logs. Perform general office duties. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Co-ordinate traffic flow of supplies. Compile worksheets and specifications of orders. Consult with production supervisor to schedule production runs in a cost and time-efficient manner. Prepare and maintain progress and other reports. Provide customer service. Arrange training for staff. Co-ordinate, assign and review work. Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders. Follow-up on issues with work orders. Keep track of shipments. Maintain vehicle operator work records. Process and transmit information and instructions to co-ordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment. Respond to urgent calls from individual who find themselves in life threatening situation and who require assistance . Schedule assignments and co-ordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews and equipment. Establish work schedules and procedures. Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization. Computer and technology knowledge: Electronic scheduler. Electronic mail. Spreadsheet. MS Access. MS Excel. MS PowerPoint.
