*Electrical Technician*
We are a small established manufacturing company that manufactures equipment for mines and laboratories worldwide. Quality, responsiveness, and customer service are our company?s core values.
We are looking for a self-starting, positive, detail oriented, and organized individual with extensive experience in electrical and mechanical fields. Assembling, circuitry, trouble shooting PLC and some general. Knowledge of machine shop tools and machinery is a an asset but not essential.. Full health benefits after 3 months.
*Job Scopes*
*Company production line*
* Manufacturing of control panels for laboratory mining machinery.
* Able to understand, build, wire, and test complete control panels based on customer order specifications and existing control panel designs.
* Develop and modify electrical schematics to precisely reflect electrical control systems on hand.
* Able to systematically troubleshoot and rectify common problems in electrical control systems.
* Capable of modifying existing control panel designs when customization and new features are implemented.
* Capable of control panel design (hardware and software) from ground up when custom equipment is being developed.
* Install the electrical control systems (including hands on wiring) and perform tests to make sure the machines work according to the client?s requirements.
* Sufficient knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code, be ready for the third-party CSA?s inspection and approval.
*1. Programming of PLC control system*
* Knowledge of the PLC control system in both hardware and software, especially in the Omron and Shneider products.
* Work requirements including programming, testing, troubleshooting and commissioning.
* Knowledge of the Programmable Relay including Omron ZEN systems and Schneider Electric compact smart relay Zelio Logic.
*2. Pneumatic and Hydraulic Systems*
* Knowledge of the Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems.
* Work requirements including design, calculation, assemble and test of the systems.
*3. Assembly of the machines*
* Able to assemble and test electric motors.
* Able to assemble and test mechanical parts of the machines.
*Company equipment maintenance*
* Occasional maintenance of the company equipment including troubleshooting.
*On site works*
* Potential for world-wide travel for on-site commissioning, troubleshooting and modification according to client?s requests. (Including electrical control, mechanical parts and PLC programming)
*Qualifications:*
* Excellent communication skills in English
* Excellent trouble shooting skills
* Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
* Demonstrates solid multi-tasking, problem solving, and analytical skills.
* Advanced mechanical and technical aptitude
* Should exhibit initiative, good judgement, diligence, and have an excellent work and attendance record
