Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Asset languages: Mandarin. Cantonese. Work setting: Travel wholesale company. Tasks: Calculate cost of travel and accommodations. Recommend suitable products. Manage difficult situations with customers. Perform general office duties. Sell travel products and travel insurance. Provide customers with travel information and other details such as regulations, duty free allowances, health risks and requirements, attractions and special events. Attend to cancellations and schedule changes. Develop contact lists. Make transportation and accommodation reservations using computerized reservation and ticketing system. Provide travel information to clients regarding destinations, transportation, accommodation options and travel costs.
