The role of the Business Development Manager at Frontier Lodging Solutions is to help expand our clientele in support of company growth and profitability.
As part of the Business Development team, this role requires personal drive, excellent communication, and a tireless persistence to create and apply effective sales strategies. This is a full-time salaried position reporting to the VP of Sales and Service.
*Daily Tasks and Responsibilities:*
* Identifying new core business opportunities by researching organizations and contacts, developing new markets to improve sales.
* Making cold calls and sending emails to potential clients.
* Securing meetings (Face-to-Face and/or via Zoom).
* Asking questions about current approach to managing accommodation needs.
* Providing prospective clients with detailed information on services offered by Frontier.
* Organizing additional meetings and/or presentations as necessary throughout the sales process.
* Working with clients to develop tailored solutions to their needs, ensuring a smooth process from prospecting to closing sales.
* Preparing sales contracts and initiating the implementation process post-sale.
* Maintaining positive relationships with clients after the sale is completed to ensure long-term success.
* Creating and maintaining a detailed prospect/client information list (CRM, Excel, etc.).
* Clarifying, recommending, and driving implementation commitments.
* Managing expectations to ensure successful program delivery.
* Advocating best practices to secure long-term success and value for Frontier clients.
* Communicating key learnings and client information to relevant internal teams.
* Attending conferences, trade shows, and industry events.
* Collaborating closely with leadership to strategize more effective sales methods and solutions
*Qualifications:*
* Previous experience in B2B sales with a track record of exceeding sales targets
* A reliable personal vehicle is mandatory. Travel will be required in this role.
* A valid and in good standing driver?s license and insurance.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Previous experience in Travel and/or Trades is considered an asset.
*Success is measured in this position by: *
* Achieving sales targets and quotas, expected by the third month of employment.
* Client acquisition, retention, and satisfaction.
* Quality of outreach (measured by call effectiveness and ability to sell service).
* Success is defined by bringing in new revenue, and progress is measured by securing meetings.
*Salary*:
$50,000 - $70,000 base salary plus uncapped commissions, with an earning potential of $120,000+ annually.
