At Vohora LLP, we provide accounting, tax, audit and assurance, and business advisory services for a variety of clients throughout BC. We work collaboratively with our clients to understand their financial goals. We then provide the expertise and services needed to achieve them.
We are currently looking to fill a Bookkeeper position in our Terrace office. The successful candidate will actively contribute to the success of the firm by delivering exceptional client service and will have strong technical accounting skills in our diverse, fast-paced, paperless environment. We are looking for an individual who is willing to grow and invest in themselves, with opportunities to move up within our growing practice.
*Responsibilities:*
* Assist in the compilation of financial statements, and various other accounting assignments;
* Ongoing payroll preparation for small businesses and related filings such as (Work safe, ROE?s, Employer Health Tax);
* Preparation and filing of GST and PST returns;
* General client support and services.
* Prepare Compilation financial statements and corporate tax returns;
* Assist clients with accounting and bookkeeping needs;
* Provide exceptional service to our clients;
* Participate in, and contribute to, the attainment of team objectives.
*Qualifications, Skills & Personal Attributes*
* 1-2 years accounting/bookkeeping experience;
* Experience with QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, and Sage 50;
* Microsoft Office Skills;
* Superior organizational and analytical skills;
* Proven abilities in the areas of personal and corporate tax compliance;
* Strong verbal and written communication skills;
* Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong focus on client service, business development and emerging leadership skills;
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work in teams and individually; and
* A desire to learn and adapt in a changing environment.
