As we are enriching our tour products, we are now hiring a tour clerk supervisor who has experience in tour consulting and routine design, travel planning, maintaining sustainable client relationship and supervision of the tour clerk?s work etc.
*Industry:* Tourism/Hospitality
*Compensation: *$25 CAD per hour, 14 days paid holiday per annum*.*
*Work Location:*12 Ella Ln #211, Bedford, NS Canada B4B 2M8
*Duties/Responsibilities:*
· Establish work schedules and procedures and co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
· Review clerk?s work and review the travel plan. Amend travel plan when needed
· Make tourist travel plan, design routes, arrange ground reception groups;
· promote the company's tourism products, special routes, and completing the tour contracts with clients;
· Answer customer inquiries and provide information on food, accommodation, travel, shopping and entertainment;
· Develop new customers, expand business with old customers, establish and maintain customer files;
· Maintain customers and maintain good relationship;
· Handle travel complaints from customers.
· Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
· Ensure sufficient work materials and supplies, and professional content on posters.
*Position Description / Qualifications*
· At least one year work experience as a travel consultant and/or travel planner.
· College Degree
· Advanced interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
· Experience building and strengthening relationships with external partners.
· Language: English
