Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: Animal shelter. Tasks: Bathe and shampoo animals. Document animal behaviour. Prepare food and feed animals. Clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stall and enclosures. Keep records of animals treated. Assist with inoculation and treatment of animals. Type of pets groomed: All breeds of dogs. Cats. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Physically demanding. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Fast-paced environment.
