We are currently recruiting for a Full Time, Probationary, Certified Instructor for a work assignment at Bellerose Composite High School supporting student learning in CTS Construction and Framing classes. Hours of Work : 30 hrs. /week; 6.0 hrs. /day; Monday-Friday; Full-Time, Probationary <p>Hourly Rate: $26.28 per hour, as per the CUPE Collective Agreement.Specific Needs/Requirements for this position: <p> Must be Alberta-certified<p> tradesperson <p> Experience working in a<p> construction trade, working with construction tools, equipment, safety procedures, as well as an aptitude for woodworking is require <p> Experience working with students<p> at the high school level is an asset Working with students with various learning and behavioural needs is an asset<p> Experience with providing social, emotional, and behavioural supports is preferred<p> A coachable individual who has experience in a team environment <p> Patience, reliability and organizational skills<p> First Aid training is an asset*Note: If a<p>suitable candidate cannot be found, we will consider lesser qualified<p>applicants under a lower classification. <p>Applications, either written or electronic, must include documentation, which describes: Highest level of formal education<p> Professional certificates, trade certificates, etc.<p> Courses, seminars, and specialized training<p> Experience related to the position<p> Other skills and abilities applicable to the position <p>In accordance with the CUPE Collective Agreement, this position offers a comprehensive benefits package found under Alberta School Employee Benefit Plan. <p>All completed applications received by the deadline will be considered. <p>However, only short listed candidates will be contacted. <p>All new employees to St. Albert Public Schools are required to submit a recent (within 6 months), <p>clear Vulnerable Sector/Criminal Record Check prior to commencement of employment.
