Job details
Education: Bachelor's degree. Tasks: Assess patients' physical abilities. Assist health care professionals. Carry out treatment programs, under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities. Follow through on treatment programs with patients. Help physical therapists. Position patients for treatments by chiropractor or machine. Set up and dismantle equipment. Apply and adjust casts, splints and bandages. Clean and maintain equipment. Assist chiropractor with patient health education. Order and purchase equipment. Plan physiotherapy programs. Confer with other health professionals. Maintain inventory of equipment. Document patient rehabilitation progress. Perform general clerical duties. Process files and paperwork. Schedule and confirm appointments. Teach and/or supervise exercises to patients. Organize and maintain inventory. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.- LocationBrampton, ON
