Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Asset languages: Panjabi; Punjabi. Tasks: Load and unload goods. Perform preventive maintenance. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption. Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo. Knowledge of cross border dispatching regulations and practices. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Driver's License (Class 1 or A). Documentation knowledge: Accident or incident reports. Bill of lading. Driver logbook. Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip). Maintenance and repair reports. Trans-border documentation. Trip reports. Type of trucking and equipment: Tractor-trailer B train. Communication systems experience: Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment. Trip recorder (on-board computer). Transportation/travel experience: Long-haul. Security and safety: Valid passport. Basic security clearance. Criminal record check. Driver's validity licence check. Driving record check (abstract). Drug test. Medical exam. Transportation/travel information: Drive manual transmission vehicle. Valid driver's licence. Willing to travel cross-border.
