*About Us:* We are a leading clinic specializing in innovative mental health treatments, including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), oral/intranasal Ketamine, and Spravato (Esketamine) therapy. Our mission is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals experiencing treatment-resistant depression and other mental health conditions. We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our multidisciplinary team.
*Position Overview:* The RN/RPN will play a critical role in delivering high-quality care to our patients, ensuring safe and effective administration of treatments, and providing comprehensive support to individuals throughout their therapeutic journey. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mental health, a commitment to patient-centered care, and experience in a clinical setting.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Complete intakes and safety screenings.
* Prepare intake reports, assessment reports, progress reports, discharge reports and other written documents as required.
* Respond to client inquiries and assist clients with accessing services.
* Instruct and guide clients through treatment.
* Administer and interpret clinical scales as required.
* Maintain accurate and up to date client records.
* Use and understand Practice Perfect Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
* Treat client conditions with TMS and Ketamine/Esketamine.
* Monitor client?s mental health status throughout their treatments.
* Liaise with involved care professionals, participate in case conferences and team meetings, work as a member of a multidisciplinary team and provide feedback to care teams on client progress.
* Promote public awareness to professional organizations/agencies.
* Develop promotional and education material.
* Provide training to new staff, interns and placement students as required.
* Ensure protocols are up to date, followed and adhered to.
* Maintain inventories of supplies and order supplies when required.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
* Perform monthly workplace health and safety inspections and reports.
* Ensure health and safety protocols and requirements are up to date, followed and adhered to.
* Assist our pain specialist with pain assessments.
* Complete pain scales with clients.
* Schedule clients.
* Coordinate medication deliveries with pharmacies.
* Assist with reception (i.e., answering phone calls, checking voice messages, obtaining payments from clients, scheduling clients etc.).
* Perform motor vehicle accident (MVA) intakes and prepare intake summary reports and create OCF-18s.
*Qualifications:*
* Current RN or RPN license.
* Experience in mental health or a related field is preferred.
* Strong clinical skills, including the ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is an asset.
* Experience with TMS or Ketamine therapy is an asset but not required; training will be provided
