*Job Title:* Human Resources Generalist
*Position:* Full-time
*Experience Level:* 5-10 years (Preferably with stand-alone role experience)
*Industry Preference:* Luxury Hospitality, Remote Boutique Hotel experience preferred.
*Location:* ON-SITE - Stratford, Ontario, Canada (relocation possible for the right candidate)
We are in search of a seasoned Human Resources Generalist to join our vibrant team. As an HR Generalist with experience in luxury hospitality, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the employee journey, actively contributing to talent acquisition, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This position is well-suited for individuals with a minimum of 5 years of HR experience, particularly in stand-alone roles, showcasing a background in international hiring processes and a solid understanding of immigration programs, including LMIA applications and ONIP.

*Responsibilities:*
* Run payroll from our HRIS system, PUSH, ensuring timely and accurate processing while monitoring hours, overtime, vacation pay, sick pay, and bonuses as part of overall HR operations.
* Maintain accurate employee records and data in the HRIS system, ensuring compliance with federal, provincial, and local payroll regulations.
* Prepare and submit payroll-related reports, including tax filings and year-end documentation.
* Assist in the resolution of payroll discrepancies and inquiries.
* Oversee the recruitment process, starting with searches in Canada and utilizing overseas hires as needed.
* Develop and assist with training initiatives across multiple departments, collaborating with internal and external partners to create a one-of-a-kind training program.
* Act as the main point of contact for employees' HR-related queries and resolve issues related to leaves, compensation, and other HR matters.
* Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
* Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies, with a focus on compliance with labour regulations.
* Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, such as time to hire and employee turnover rates.
* Enhance job satisfaction by promptly resolving issues, introducing new perks and benefits, and organizing team-building activities.
* Maintain an understanding of immigration programs, including LMIA and PR processes, to assist foreign workers effectively.
*Requirements and Skills:*
* Proven experience as an HR Generalist.
* Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
* Good knowledge of employment/labour laws and immigration programs.
* Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g., PUSH) will be a plus.
* Excellent communication and people skills.
* Aptitude in problem-solving.
* Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach.
* A university degree or college diploma in human resources management is preferred; however, we will also consider candidates with a degree in business administration, industrial relations, psychology, or related fields, coupled with relevant HR experience.
