Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our team. As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and rehabilitation services. You will work closely with patients to assess their needs, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic exercises to improve their physical well-being. The ideal candidate will have experience in pediatrics and acute care settings.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' physical condition and determine appropriate treatment plans
- Develop individualized treatment programs based on patients' specific needs and goals
- Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other modalities to improve patients' mobility, strength, and function
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for self-care and injury prevention
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy techniques and research
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution
- Valid license to practice as a Physiotherapist in the state
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred
- Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
