Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Install and overhaul heating systems. Install equipment in refrigerated trucks used to transport food or medical supplies. Install ventilation, air handling and air conditioning systems. Maintain and repair equipment in refrigerated trucks. Measure and lay out reference points for installation. Prepare tenders and quotations. Troubleshoot ventilation, air handling, refrigeration and air conditioning systems. Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components. Measure, cut and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment. Perform maintenance such as, recharging system with refrigerant, checking and testing regulators or calibrating system. Interpret gas codes. Handle, recover and store refrigerants. Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation or heat pump systems. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Handling heavy loads. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Personal suitability: Flexibility. Team player.
