Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Noisy. Odours. Dusty. Hot. Cold/refrigerated. Confined spaces. Work setting: Petroleum, natural gas processing company. Agricultural chemical processing plant. Petrochemical industry. Oil refinery and petrochemical plant. Chemical processing plant. Tasks: Clean and maintain work space. Move, sort and pile materials and products. Assist in operation, repair and maintenance. Perform general labouring duties. Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages. Wear and use Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) equipment. Load and unload vessels. Assemble, erect and install hoisting and rigging equipment. Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders or other support structures. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness (H2S) Certificate. Confined Space Entry Training. Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate. Fall Arrest Protection Training Course. Working at heights training. Oil Sands Safety Association (OSSA) basic safety orientation (BSO). Equipment and machinery experience: Screening equipment. Reactors. Jackhammer. Gas detecting devices.
