Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Instruct apprentices. Apply and secure insulation using spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping and other application and installation methods. Fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs. Install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials. Supervise other workers. Assemble, erect and dismantle scaffolding, rigging and hoisting equipment. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Occupational Health and Safety Certificate. First Aid Certificate. Driver's License. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Fall Arrest Protection Training Course. Area of specialization: Spraying and blowing insulation. Security and safety: Bondable. Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Own vehicle. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Manual dexterity. Own tools/equipment: Tools. Steel-toed safety boots. Hard hat. Gloves. Experience: Experience an asset. Health benefits: Dental plan. Health care plan.
