Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Employer's home. Work in employer's/client's home. Tasks: Change diapers. Follow parents' lead with toilet training . Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties. Bathe, dress and feed infants and children. Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home. Organize, activities such as games and outings for children. Prepare and serve nutritious meals. Supervise and care for children. Tend to emotional well-being of children. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Emergency child care first aid and CPR. CPR Certificate. First Aid Certificate. Security and safety: Reference required. Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Support for newcomers and refugees: Supports social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: facilitating access to community resources, language training, skills training, etc.). Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster (for example: Ukraine, Afghanistan, etc.) . Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees . Support for mature workers: Applies hiring policies that discourage age discrimination .
