Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Relocation costs not covered by employer. Heavy machinery manufacturing. Metal product fabrication industry. Sheet metal shop. Tasks: Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications. Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment. Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products. Investigate problems to fix or make minor repair. Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions. Select and transport material to work area manually or using crane or hoist. Equipment and machinery experience: AutoCAD. Drills. Overhead crane. Punch presses. Saws. Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines. Metal forming or shaping operations experience: Bending. Cutting machine. Punching. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Handling heavy loads. Weight handling: More than 45 kg (100 lbs). Personal suitability: Judgement. Organized. Team player.
