## Job Summary
The Sales Associate is a crucial member of our team, serving as the primary interface between Stewart Overhead Door and existing and potential new Lumber-yards accross Ontario. This dynamic role combines elements of marketing, sales, promotions, customer service and providing in-depth training of our products and technology. Fostering a positive customer relationship, you will demonstrate independent professionalism, dedicated to cultivating business relationships, achieving result and promoting our diverse products and service offerings to our customers.
## Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to provide outstanding service and drive sales
- Utilize upselling techniques to expand markets and increase revenue
- Demonstrate technical product knowledge to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions
- Collaborate on marketing strategies with sales manager.
- Visit Lumber-yards, home centres, and door/window installation companies regularly to promote our products and service offerings.
-Ensure customers receive quick quotes and turn around on orders.
-Explore new markers through cold calls, meetings and research.
-Assist with social media, printed material, swag and updates required on digital platforms
- Answer customer inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email
## Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales or customer service
- Ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with customers
- Ability to conduct market studies and analyse territiry sales targets
- Self motivated and capable of working independently
- Must be computer literate
- Ability to work flexible schedules
- Proficient in phone etiquette and written communication
- Strong ability to sell products and services
- Willingness to travel regularly within Ontario and attandance at trade shows.
- Must have a clean driving abstract
- Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous
