Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or optometry. Work setting: Hospital/medical facility or clinic. Tasks: Direct and control daily operations . Evaluate daily operations . Plan and control budget and expenditures. Plan and organize daily operations. Establish and implement policies and procedures for delivery of health care services. Hire, train, direct and motivate staff. Develop evaluation systems to monitor health care services. Co-ordinate work of doctors, nurses and other staff.
