Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. Tasks: Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties. Provide companionship. Prepare and serve nutritious meals. Dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician. Monitor patients and advise physician of any changes in patients' condition. Accompany clients to appointments and social outings. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : CPR Certificate. First Aid Certificate. Personal Support Worker Certificate. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Personal suitability: Reliability. Patience. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Are you willing to relocate for this position?. Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?.
