Education: College/CEGEP. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Relocation costs not covered by employer. Willing to relocate. Tasks: Design plant layouts and production facilities. Conduct work measurement or other studies. Develop and carry out health, safety and fire prevention plans. Develop computer applications for machines and processes. Collect and compile operational or experimental data. Collect and analyze data and samples. Develop manufacturing and processing procedures. Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications and reports. Read blueprints and drawings. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Certification by a provincial or territorial association. Computer and technology knowledge: Computer-aided design (CAD). MS Excel. MS PowerPoint. MS Word. MS Windows. Autodesk Inventor. Lean Manufacturing. Industrial processes and biological studies: Product development. Area of work experience: Fabrication. Area of specialization: Development of production processes. Development of facilities and systems. Development of quality assurance programs. Work planning, estimating, measuring and scheduling. Development of safety and fire prevention plans. Robotic equipment and systems. Process improvement. Security and safety: Basic security clearance. Transportation/travel information: Own vehicle.
