Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Perform underwater inspection, search, salvage, repair and photography
  • Train or assist in the training of other workers
  • Supervise staff
  • Evaluate curriculum programs and recommend improvements
  • Troubleshoot problems related to equipment
  • Organize and maintain procedures for the keeping of records
  • Evaluate user feedback
  • Coordinate projects and programs

Credentials

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses 

  • Commercial diver's license
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate

Experience and specialization

Equipment and machinery experience

  • Underwater recording equipment
