This includes overseeing horticultural areas, trees, fencing, sports fields, playgrounds, parking lots, drainage systems, irrigation systems, and walkways. The ideal candidate will demonstrate effective leadership, strategic planning, and operational management within a fast-paced environment.<p>Responsibilities Plan, organize, and control Grounds Maintenance operations to ensure efficiency and safety.<p> Ensure compliance with applicable school district regulations and procedures.<p> Recommend appropriate staffing levels for Grounds Maintenance.<p> Supervisor and provide training to staff.<p> Collaborate with the Associate Director and HR/LR on hiring, promotions, and employee management<p> Prepare and present operational reports as required.<p> Manage the annual operating budgets for Grounds Maintenance and assist in grant budget development.<p> Develop and implement effective maintenance programs and safety protocols.<p> Foster positive relationships with schools, community members, and external Partners.<p> Coordinate with the City of Surrey Parks Department for operational issues.QUALIFICATIONS<p>Education & Experience <p> A diploma in horticulture, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with a minimum of two years of field experience, preferably in a busy, multi-site organization. <p> Proven experience in grounds maintenance management or a related role.<p> Strong knowledge of horticulture, landscaping, sport fields and grounds maintenance practices. <p>Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate and build trust with a variety of key partners. <p> Proficiency using MS Office (Word,
