Boiler Operator (Winter Season)
*Location:* Various Locations within Northern Alberta / Grande Prairie Area.
*Job Type:* Full-time / Contractor

As we prepare for a busy winter season, we are looking for skilled Boiler Operators to join our team and ensure smooth operations at oil and gas well sites across Alberta. With both mobile and skid boilers in operation, we offer opportunities for consistent work throughout the winter, with accommodations provided based on client requirements.
*Job Summary:*
The Boiler Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient setup and operation of boilers at oil and gas well sites. This includes rigging up steam piping, hoses, heaters, and monitoring boiler operation during both day and night shifts. The role requires close coordination with clients and other contractors on site, ensuring seamless operations in various locations.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Operate and maintain mobile and skid boilers at oil and gas well sites.
* Rig up steam piping, hoses, heaters, and ensure all connections are secure.
* Monitor boiler operations, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
* Conduct routine checks on water levels, pressures, and temperatures, adjusting as necessary.
* Collaborate closely with clients and other contractors on-site to meet operational needs.
* Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on boilers and related equipment.
* Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, including on-site protocols.
* Work day and night shifts as required by operational demands.
*Required Safety Certifications:*
* H2S Alive
* Standard First Aid
* Common Safety Orientation
*Qualifications:*
* Special Oil Well Certification or Class 4 Power Engineering (or higher) is required.
* Must have a minimum of 1 year operating boilers, particularly in oil and gas well sites, is preferred.
* Knowledge of steam systems, boiler maintenance, and safe operation procedures.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to work in remote locations under varying conditions, including extreme cold.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with clients and site teams.
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
*Work Conditions:*
* Work will be based out of camps or hotels, depending on client requirements.
* Work is available across Alberta
* Accommodations (hotels) will be provided.
* Sub payments will be provided for meals and other expenses.
*Compensation:*
* Competitive hourly rates.
* Day rates for contractors are welcome.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $500.00-$800.00 per day
