*POSITION MANDATE* Working closely with the CFO, this position leads the FP&A function for the entire Team Power Solutions group of companies and is responsible for owning the group?s financial models and planning processes. This role also interacts closely with other teams across the group of companies, delivering value-added business analysis and meaningful financial reports to help propel revenue growth, reduce costs, optimize cash flows, and encourage more insightful and accurate business decisions *WHAT YOU WILL DO* ? Manage and continuously improve 3-year financial models including the annual budget, quarterly rolling forecast, and working capital plan ? Plan, coordinate, and prepare predictive planning scenarios and sensitivity analysis ? Provide forward-looking information and analysis to senior leadership for decision-making purposes ? Track key performance metrics and generate monthly KPI reports ? Monitor and analyze divisional performance metrics using in-depth financial analysis, and coordinate preparation of ad hoc performance analytics to support management decision making ? Perform strategic and financial analysis to inform/validate all major decisions for the business including budget allocation, capital structure, investment decisions, pricing strategy, margin targets, unit economics, sales and marketing spend efficiency, and hiring plans ? Develop business cases to evaluate new revenue opportunities, market segments, M&A opportunities, and measure the financial performance of new initiatives ? Identify risks and opportunities across the business based on data-driven insights ? Assist the CFO on special projects such as fundraising, M&A, contract negotiations, and other ad-hoc initiatives ? Support IT-focused workflow that leverages technology to streamline processes and provide more timely and accurate financial information ? Collaborate with the broader Finance team on various areas including financial reporting, compliance filings, and preparation of presentation decks ? Develop close working relationships with all lines of business, learning their different solution offerings and providing financial insight that will help them lead their respective areas. ? Ensure continuous improvement of the budgeting process on financial issues impacting budgets, including identifying ways in which to minimize costs and maximize performance ? Lead monthly and quarterly reporting and analysis of financial results and KPIs to business unit leaders, including budget to actual variance analysis ? Collaborate on the preparation and enhancement of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting packages for internal and external purposes *WHO YOU ARE* ? Highly motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic ? Be an engaged communicator, focused and driven with a keen sense of purpose and urgency *WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM* ? 7+ years experience in a Finance role, including in FP&A or similar capacity ? A professional financial designation (i.e. CPA, CA, CFA) ? Experience implementing and using planning and reporting software ? Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities ? Effective writing and presentation skills: ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and clear action plans ? Ability to work both independently and cross-functionally in an autonomous work environment ? Highly proficient financial modeling and Excel skills ? Proven ability to translate strategic insights, initiatives, and projects into a financial forecast ? Extensive experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and- LocationSaskatoon, SK
