*Horizon Health Network is looking for Corporate Security Officers join our team in Saint John! There are FULL TIME, PART TIME, and CASUAL positions available.* *This is the life-changing opportunity you?ve been looking for.* Horizon Health Network (Horizon) is actively recruiting *Corporate Security Officers *to join the team at the Saint John Regional Hospital. As a Corporate Security Officer you would be responsible for ensuring public safety within the healthcare environment. You will protect patients, public, and staff from acts of violence with a focus on prevention, early intervention, and response. As an extension of the healthcare team, you will provide a safe and secure environment in support of the delivery of safe, quality care. Specific duties include: * Maintaining a safe and secure working environment * Vigilant monitoring and patrol of assigned areas of responsibility * Establishing rapport with clients and staff * Acting as an internal first responder to acts of workplace violence * Providing operational leadership related to the mitigation of security risks and threats to public safety * Assuming a lead role with respect to response and required physical intervention * Liaising with local law enforcement * Ensuring the healthcare environment is free from weapons or other prohibited items * Collecting, tracking, and reporting data pertaining to acts of violence *Why you should work here* Working for Horizon gives you flexibility in your career and the chance to make a big difference in the lives of New Brunswickers.
