As a member of this team, and working closely with the Production department, you are accountable for the direct hands-on leadership and quality execution of all aspects of the project life cycle. The successful individual will demonstrate profound relationship management skills, innate organization abilities and an eagerness to learn. Your *Main Responsibilities *include: · Manage all aspects of company projects - from material selection and budgeting to getting the finished pieces out the door and in place you are responsible for it all · Verify project scope, site conditions, field dimensions and client drawings ? AKA: can you make it work · Design budgets and monitor costs, internal and external to the Company ? AKA: make it work profitably · Collaborate and coordinate with department leaders to ensure adequate timing for job completion ? make sure it gets out the door on time · Cultivate and maintain positive working relations with all stake holders ? be likable, be credible, be responsible in resolving issues · Monitor for deliverables to facilitate the unencumbered completion of each project - deliver what we committed to · Travel to project stakeholder sites as required ? make sure the project can be, will be and is installed properly · Create and maintain in accurate detail all project documentation ? keep your paperwork organized · Contribute to a safe, well kept, and enjoyable work environment ? you are responsible for doing your part Your *Key Competencies *include: · Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills · Advanced written and oral communication skills to effectively interact with, influence and motivate people at all levels · Proven project planning, problem solving, decision-making, and business reasoning skills · Excellent prioritization, time-management, organization and multi-tasking skills with an ability to work under resource constraints in a fast-paced environment · Strong presentation skills including the ability to speak effectively before groups and clients · Profound attention to detail · Strong conflict resolution, critical thinking and analytical skills to resolve issues quickly *Job Requirements *include: · Post secondary education in Operations/Project Management or related field · 3 years progressive project management roles in a manufacturing or industrial environment (millwork setting preferred) · Working knowledge of custom millwork, commercial construction, fabrication and installation methods · Experience with large construction projects would be considered an asset · Ability to accurately read and interpret architectural plans, drawings and specifications · Ability to travel, including internationally Mirmil Products is committed to providing accessible employment practices that are in compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
