Whether you're seeking a part-time position to complement your current job, or casual hours, we have exciting opportunities for you. Availability for one after school shift (3pm-7pm) and one weekend shift (Saturday or Sunday 9am-4pm) is required. *Competitive Compensation:* From $90 per hour, based on experience. Maximize your billable hours by eliminating travel between clients * *Team: *Be part of an amazing, close-knit, multi-disciplinary team of SLPs, SLPAs, and OTs * *Access to Assessment and Treatment Materials: *Extensive selection of formal and informal assessment tools, toys, treatment materials, and online resources to enhance therapy sessions * *Online Subscriptions:* Including continuing education and online materials * *Office Administrator Support:* Clinical administrators support scheduling, billing, and client coordination matters * *Material Prep Support:* Delegate material preparation to our team of volunteers and practicum students * *Supplies: *Convenient access to office resources, including a printer, laminator, and office supplies * *Electronic Medical Record System: *Access our EMR system (Jane) for all documentation and scheduling needs, with many ready-to-use templates * *Staff Lounge: *A space for colleagues to mingle, work, and enjoy complimentary coffee and treats * *Workshops and Training:* We actively invest in our clinicians' knowledge and skills with workshops hosted at the clinic to further enhance professional development * *Extended Health Benefits*: You will have an option to join our group benefit plan *Primary Responsibilities:* * Consultation, screening, and evidence based assessment and treatment of communication disorders * Design a treatment plan using SMART goals, evidence-based information, relevant best practice guidelines, and clinical expertise * Provide client and family centred intervention by building strong rapport with caregivers, with ongoing training and education * Monitor client progress towards goal attainment and have the agility to adjust treatment plans according to changing needs * Collaborate with colleagues within and across professions * Manage own caseload and maintain complete records of therapy using our electronic charting system, in accordance with CASLPO regulations *The successful applicant will:* * Be committed to providing excellent, empathic care in line with our values * Possess a courteous, positive and professional attitude * Possess effective oral and written communication skills with ability to engage others * Strong time management skills and ability to organize daily activities and priorities * Ability to work independently and as part of a team *Qualifications:* * Graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology / Communication Sciences and Disorders * Registration in good standing with CASLPO * Professional Liability Insurance * Recent Vulnerable Sector Screening If you're interested, please send us your resume!
