As a key member of the maintenance team the *Journeyman/woman Industrial Electrician* is responsible for the following but not limited to; maintain and troubleshoot automated production equipment & mechanical components used for the manufacture of dairy products. *You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:* * Perform tasks related to dismantling, instillation, repair, testing, and maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment. * Troubleshoot electrical and pneumatic control circuits, electrical and mechanical machine failures and issues and PLC & electrical circuits. * Troubleshoot and repair of various PLC systems and programs (Allen Bradley). * Perform and participate in preventative maintenance and repair on all production equipment to minimize downtime. * Complete all pertinent documents and reports, as may be required by management or the government, in an accurate and legible format. *To succeed in this role:* * Must hold a valid Interprovincial Red Seal Industrial Electrician license. * Experience and knowledge on basic TIG welding of steel and stainless steel. * Experience with machine troubleshooting, repair and maintenance. * Hands on troubleshooting experience and working knowledge of pneumatics, control circuits, PLC controls and mechanical components. * Ability to work at various heights. * Identify, problem solve and research alternatives within the scope of the job. * Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team based environment. * Available for all shifts such as days, evenings, and weekends *What we can offer:* * Starting wage: $39.76 per hour plus off shift premiums 0-6 months * $42.48 per hour 7-12 months * After one-year, hourly wage increases to $43.84 * Overtime opportunities * Advancement opportunities * Be part of a diverse and inclusive team *Why Join Our Team?* Lactalis Canada is part of Lactalis Groupe which is the world?s #1 dairy group.
