*About Us:* Cedar and Stone Realty is a dynamic and growing real estate and property management company, managing a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential properties. We are currently seeking a skilled *General Carpenter* to join our team and contribute to the renovation, repair, and maintenance of our properties. *Position Overview:* We are looking for a versatile *General Carpenter* who will be responsible for various renovation projects, property improvements, and maintenance tasks across our portfolio. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial settings, with the ability to handle diverse carpentry projects ranging from framing, drywall, cabinetry, to finishing work. You will work on ongoing renovation projects, as well as respond to repair and maintenance requests to ensure our properties remain in top condition. *Key Responsibilities:* * Perform a variety of carpentry tasks including framing, trim work, cabinetry installation, and drywall repair. * Assist with renovations, remodeling, and improvement projects at both commercial and residential properties. * Perform repairs and maintenance on interior and exterior structures including doors, windows, walls, and flooring. * Install and repair cabinetry, fixtures, and other woodwork as needed. * Work with other contractors and tradespeople to ensure timely project completion. * Maintain a safe and clean work environment on all job sites. * Follow blueprints, building plans, and job specifications to ensure quality work. * Inspect and troubleshoot carpentry issues, recommending solutions where necessary. * Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. *Qualifications:* * Minimum of 3-5 years of general carpentry experience, preferably in both residential and commercial settings. * Proficiency with tools and techniques used in carpentry (saws, drills, measuring devices, etc.). * Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Excellent communication and time management skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Valid driver?s license and reliable transportation. *Preferred Skills:* * Experience in property management or working with real estate companies. * Additional skills in other trades (e.g., plumbing, electrical, tiling) are a plus. *Physical Requirements:* * Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment (up to 50 lbs.). * Comfort with working in various environments, including outdoors, basements, attics, and on ladders or scaffolding. * Flexibility to travel between job sites as needed. *What We Offer:* * Competitive salary based on experience. * Opportunities to be a part of a growing local business. * Company vehicle or reimbursement for travel expenses. * Health benefits and retirement plan (if applicable). * Friendly and supportive work environment.
