We are poised to meet the growing global demand for renewable fuels.Join our highly skilled team and become leaders in a world-class production facility.Process Operator 3rd and 4th ClassReporting to the Shift Team LeadAs part of the Operations department at Braya Renewable Fuels, the Process Operator is to contribute to a positive working environment with a continued commitment to safety. The goal of a process operator is to monitor equipment and improve the quality, efficiency and safety of the production plantResponsibilities:Work with staff members and coordinate maintenance efforts to ensure control instruments and machinery are working properly.Perform other administrative tasks such as recording test results and other data about the plant's operation.Responsible for troubleshooting and reporting problems with the production process or equipment to shift managers and maintenance engineersInspections of all key process points in the facility, to identify anything abnormal. If an issue is identified, make necessary machinery and equipment adjustments and implement the proper response, including notifying supervisorsEnsure that the products being produced meet all specificationsParticipate in health and safety programsCollaborate with supervisors and peers to identify and correct potential health and safety/environment hazardsFollow safe work practices through safety/environment and housekeeping practicesParticipate in maintenance activities as requiredParticipate in all training programs as assignedPerform additional duties as assignedQualifications:Minimum Engineering Technology Diploma, 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate (NOTE: 4th Class Power Engineer with a commitment to obtain 3rd Class, 3rd class preferred)Understanding of advanced control systemsAbility to use reason and logic to solve mechanical and chemical problems.Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to effectively train and mentor employeesDetail-oriented with proficiency for accuracyMotivated and hard working with a professional attitudeExemplary record in Health, Safety, and Environment is essentialProven leadership and problem-solving capabilities and ability to meet deadlinesComputer literacy (an asset), i.e., Microsoft Office and (Computerized Maintenance Management System) such as Maximo or SAPComprehensive knowledge of refinery operations or Industrial backgroundAbility to use reason and logic to solve mechanical and process problemsDependable and persistent, and work well as part of a teamPhysical Demands:By applying for this job, you acknowledge and understand that regular requirements and demands of this job include (but are not limited to):Regularly lifts/moves object up to 25 lbs.
