Education: College/CEGEP. Tasks: Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization. Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments. Prepare and submit reports. Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Train workers in duties and policies. Co-ordinate, assign and review work. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Organize and maintain inventory. Establish work schedules and procedures. Sort packages for delivery. Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Technical experience: Warehouse and storage facilities. Personal suitability: Accurate. Organized. Reliability. Team player. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years. Support for newcomers and refugees: Assists with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: housing, transportation, storage, childcare, winter clothing, etc.). Supports social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: facilitating access to community resources, language training, skills training, etc.). Offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees . Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees . Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth.- LocationDelta, BC
