Anchor Construction Industrial Products has been serving the construction/industrial markets for over 57 years. Through our 6 branches in Western Canada we provide products, solutions, support, service and training to the construction trades and manufacturing marketplaces. We are looking to grow in Alberta and need a *high energy sales professional* to join our Calgary team. *Key Responsibilities* * Grow profitable sales by maintaining and strengthening business with current customer base while generating new business and opportunities * Split time between the office and visiting customers * Review customers, competitors, trends - create action plans to achieve results * Maintain and upgrade your working knowledge of all products and inventory on hand * Provide training, demos and support as needed to deepen customer relationships * Prepare internal paperwork, process orders, monitor budgets, report on results * Develop two-way communication regarding challenges and opportunities and collaborate with the local branch and head office teams to improve results * Other duties in branch if/when required *Knowledge & Skills Required* * 3-5 years experience in construction/trades * 3-5 years experience in outside sales * An excellent reputation and a deep network * New business development - this is a key to success in the role * Extraordinary communication skills * Customer focused * Strong organizational and time management skills * A competitive nature with a collaborative work style * Computer literate including Microsoft Office programs and the use of ERP system * A valid driver's license and your own reliable vehicle is required * Ability to lift, carry and move objects up to 60 pounds Compensation package includes salary, commission, gas card, vehicle and cell phone allowance.
