Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment. Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications. Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines. Type of materials: Aluminum alloys. Welding techniques: Resistance, spot or seam. Welding plastic. Brazing and soldering. Equipment and machinery experience: Arc welding machine. Gas welding machine. Transportation/travel information: Vehicle supplied by employer. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Weight handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Tools. Safety glasses/goggles. Gloves. Mask. Welding helmet. Personal suitability: Client focus. Excellent oral communication. Organized.
