<p><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p> <p>Duties include wiring, layout and installation of control hardware such as PLC's, DCS systems, contactor relays, protection relays etc. in a wide variety of control panel applications. Qualification and skills include a minimum of 1 year experience, be mechanically inclined, be able to read and interpret electrical/mechanical drawings as well as having strong problem solving skills. Must be able to work independently or as a team. Must be able to work overtime when needed.</p> <p><span> </span>Prior experience wiring control panels is a preferred but we will also offer training.</p> <p><span> </span><strong>The Role</strong></p> <ul> <li>Assembles brackets, mounts, and supports onto power units, gensets or other industrial equipment or components.</li> <li>Prepares and installs hoses (such as pneumatic, hydraulic and/or other)</li> <li>Performs cleaning and painting of skids, brackets, mountings, and piping.</li> <li>Installs belts, lines, electrical wiring or harnesses and other items as required.</li> <li>Performs all jobs neatly, accurately, and in a timely manner to meet production schedules.</li> <li>Supports other business activities as required.</li> <li>Maintains a strong customer focus; works with both internal and external customers.</li> <li>Understands and adheres to all organizational health and safety policies and procedures and ensures the safety of self and others.</li> <li>Share technical knowledge with coworkers.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>The Candidate</strong></p> <p><strong>Education:</strong> High School Diploma or DEP preferred.</p> <p><strong>Work Experience:</strong> 6-12 months in a similar role or equivalent combination of experience and education.</p> <p><strong>Knowledge: </strong>previous experience in mechanics or equipment assembly an asset. </p> <p>Basic electrical knowledge.</p> <p>Welding knowledge an asset</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>The Company </strong></p> <p>Our BIG goal is to be the most trusted supplier of industrial process equipment in Western Canada - and we believe that we have the best people, manufacturing partners, products, and capabilities to get us there!
