*About the Role: Human Resources Assistant*
Join our team as a *Human Resources Assistant* (HR Assistant) and play a vital role in enhancing the employee experience while ensuring compliance with legal requirements. This dynamic position encompasses a variety of essential HR functions, including:
* Managing the full-cycle recruitment process for employee applications
* Handling employee relations with care and professionalism
* Conducting engaging new employee orientations
* Maintaining accurate and organized records
* Reviewing performance reviews and reports
* Implementing employee recognition programs and rewards
* Traveling to different ILM centers in Kamloops as needed (travel expenses covered by the organization)
*Qualifications:*
* *Administrative Skills:* Proficiency in managing office tasks such as scheduling, filing, and data entry.
* *Communication Skills:* Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with employees and external parties.
* *Organizational Skills:* Strong capability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* *Attention to Detail:* Meticulous accuracy in completing tasks, such as processing paperwork and maintaining records.
* *Knowledge of HR Processes:* Familiarity with basic human resources functions like recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
* *Computer Literacy:* Competence in using Google Workspace tools, including Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, and Google Forms.
* *Discretion and Confidentiality:* Proven ability to handle sensitive employee information with professionalism and confidentiality.
* *Team Player:* Willingness to collaborate with colleagues in the HR department and across the organization.
