*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving practices, as well as the ability to operate heavy equipment and perform basic automotive repairs when necessary. *Responsibilities* * Operate trucks to transport freight to designated locations in a safe and timely manner. * Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. * Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed. * Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport. * Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road. * Conduct minor automotive repairs and maintenance on the vehicle as required. *Requirements* * Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required. * Proven experience in commercial driving with a strong understanding of freight transportation. * Familiarity with operating forklifts and heavy equipment is preferred. * Basic knowledge of automotive repair is a plus. * Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. * Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as per company policy.
