As a Sales and Customer Service Representative at [Company Name], you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Cold calling business owners and key decision-makers in companies across North America.
- Meeting daily activity targets and monthly/quarterly sales targets.
- Maximizing sales opportunities by scheduling appointments.
- Hosting regular, effective, and efficient virtual presentations to clients.
- Generating new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information promptly.
- Determining customer requirements and expectations to recommend specific products and solutions.
- Recommending alternate products based on cost, availability, or specifications.
- Presenting price, credit, and terms following standard procedures and customers' profitability profiles.
- Accurately processing customer transactions such as orders, quotes, or returns.
- Providing accurate information regarding the availability of in-stock items.
- Proactively recommending items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability.
- Increasing sales and average order size using cross-selling, up-selling, and add-on sales.
- Educating customers about terminology, features, and benefits of products to improve product-related sales and customer satisfaction.
- Contacting customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaints.
- Filling requests for catalogues, information, or samples.
- Remaining current on consumer preferences by attending sales meetings, vendor training and trade shows, or reading trade journals.
- Setting up and maintaining customer files.
- Managing time effectively, meeting personal goals, and working effectively with other members of the distribution team.
- Communicating to the purchasing and manufacturing department about unexpected increases or decreases in demand for products.
- Maintaining proficiency in using a personal computer, data entry terminal, and other standard office equipment and software.
- Following company policies and procedures.
- Presenting a professional image at all times to customers and vendors.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

Skills Required:
- Must have excellent client management skills.
