Our client based out of Montreal, QC is looking to add experienced and mechanically inclined plate saw machine operators to their team. RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES · Operates multiple-circular-saw machine that automatically cuts Aluminum/ Steel plates. · Measures sample panels for conformance to specified dimensions. · Inspects cut edge for indications of dulled saw blades. · Readjusts or replaces blades. QUALIFICATIONS NECESSARY TO DO THE JOB: · Minimum two years experience in similar role. · Technical knowledge, training or experience, setting up equipment and controls in manufacturing environment. Computer knowledge of numerical control equipment. · Ability to interpret blueprints and drawings is a must. · Problem solving skills and able to calculate and read fractions- LocationMontréal, QC
