*Overview* We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with customers, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our establishment. Your role is crucial in enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests. *Duties* * Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. * Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations based on their preferences. * Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible serving practices. * Handle cash transactions efficiently using the POS system while ensuring accurate billing. * Comply with food safety regulations and maintain proper food handling practices. * Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting shortages to management. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable. *Skills* * Proficient in bartending techniques and knowledge of various drink recipes. * Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. * Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively. * Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink pricing. * Experience with POS systems for efficient transaction processing. * Background in restaurant or food service industry preferred. * Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. * Strong interpersonal skills to foster a friendly environment for guests.
