Job details
Camfil is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IoT Technology Integrator to join the Camfil IoT Center of Excellence. As the *IoT Tech Integration Manager*, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining IoT solutions that seamlessly integrate with existing systems and technologies. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of IoT technologies (including common communication protocols), excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with global cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities include?
*Solution Design:*
* Collaborate with our outside partners, end user clients and internal teams to understand business requirements and design comprehensive IoT solutions. Collaborate with corporate IT to develop system architectures and integration plans to ensure seamless connectivity and interoperability of IoT devices and platforms.
*Implementation:*
* Lead the implementation of IoT solutions, including configuring devices, setting up networks, and integrating IoT platforms with existing infrastructure. Ensure the proper installation, configuration, and testing of hardware and software components.
*Integration:*
* Integrate IoT solutions with our existing enterprise systems, databases, and cloud platforms. Collaborate with corporate IT to enable data flow and communication between IoT devices and backend systems.
*Security and Compliance:*
* Implement and enforce security measures to protect IoT solutions from potential threats. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to IoT security and data privacy.
*Troubleshooting and Support:*
* Diagnose and resolve issues related to IoT devices, networks, and integrations at the local or customer level. Provide ongoing support to clients and internal teams, addressing technical challenges and optimizing system performance.
*Training and Documentation:*
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IoT solutions, including system configurations, integration processes, and troubleshooting guides. Train local technicians and support staff.
*Recommended Qualifications:*
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience (5 years) in designing and implementing IoT solutions.
* Strong knowledge of IoT protocols, communication technologies, and device management.
* Familiarity with cloud platforms, databases, and data analytics.
* Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Certifications in IoT-related technologies (e.g., AWS IoT, Azure IoT) are a plus.
