_The Employee shall be responsible for day-to-day plumbing, maintenance and repair tasks relating to Red Sands Properties Inc.?s clients and residents. The Employee reports to Red Sands Plumbing?s General Manager._ Job Title: Journeyman/woman Plumber Hours: Full time Monday-to-Friday, 8:00 am-4:00 pm, some weekends and evenings, as required Start Date: ASAP Pay: $20-$28/hour, based on experience and qualifications, plus overtime opportunities Job type: Permanent Vacation: 2 weeks paid vacation Location: Various locations across PEI, with Charlottetown being the hub *Job duties: * * Install, repair and maintain domestic and commercial plumbing fixtures and systems * Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors * Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings * Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment * Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges * Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size *Requirements:* · Must have valid driver?s license · Must have a truck or van (will be paid mileage on all travel) · Must provide a clean and current criminal record background check · Residents of PEI are preferred, but will consider other Canadian residents Only candidates demonstrating the experience and the requirements listed above on their resume will be considered for this position.
