Full-time permanent position for an Early Childhood Educator with 1+ years of experience and a passion for teaching. The responsibilities require the ability to plan and implement age-appropriate activities, engage with children, and communicate effectively with parents and colleagues. *Qualifications / Assets:* * Registration in good standing with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators; * Knowledge of _How Does Learning Happen?_ * Knowledge and experience supporting children with special needs; * Flexible and energetic approach to child care; * Ability to manage a class and collaborate with colleagues; · Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork; · Mature and responsible attitude towards work; · Excellent teamwork; · Clear Police Vulnerable Sector Check; · Standard First Aid and CPR Level C; · Immunization up to date (including 2-step or QuantiFERON TB Test). *Responsibilities and Duties:* * Create a safe and nurturing learning environment for children; * Establish positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues; * Develop activities that are developmentally appropriate for the children in the class; * Engage with children to support their development; * Assess children's abilities and interests to create individualized learning plans; * Maintain records of each child's progress and development; *Job Type:* · Full-time *Salary:* · From $20-24 per hour, based on experience. *Expected hours:* · No less than 35 per week *Schedule:* * Monday to Friday *Work Location:* · In-person Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $23.86-$26.00 per hour Benefits: * On-site parking * Paid time off Schedule: * Monday to Friday Education: * DCS / DEC (required) Licence/Certification: * College of Early Childhood Registration in good standing (required) Work Location: In person Application deadline: 2024-08-31- LocationPeterborough, ON
