Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate. Work site environment: At heights. Noisy. Dusty. Work setting: Construction. Various locations. Renovation. Commercial. Residential. Tasks: Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware. Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites. Instruct apprentices. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Working at heights training. Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) clearance Certificate. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Fall Arrest Protection Training Course. Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Overtime required. Physically demanding. Own tools/equipment: Tools. Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Client focus. Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication. Reliability. Team player. Values and ethics.
